Willow Environmental was born around the same time as our first child.  Like most parents we knew we wanted to do everything in our power to keep our family healthy and safe.  We soon learned that the home can be the source of many toxins and health hazards.  In fact, the EPA has found that indoor air pollution can be two to five times greater than outdoor air pollution, in some cases it was found to be one hundred times greater!  What began as simply testing paint for lead turned into a bigger mission of testing for mold and other toxins - sometimes mold you couldn’t even see!  As our knowledge of indoor pollutants grew so did our desire to help others keep their families safe.  We opened our online store www.ourgreenhouse.com in 2003 to educate and provide families with safer cleaning solutions and organic products for themselves and their babies.
